Full-Stack Developer (Nest.js / React / AWS) – ואלור

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web application development, strong backend experience with Nest.js and MongoDB, and solid frontend expertise with React. You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications hosted on AWS infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Nest.js and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain responsive, dynamic, and reusable frontend components in React.
• Build and optimize MongoDB schemas, write complex aggregations, and ensure high-performance queries and efficient data modeling.
• Architect and deploy solutions on AWS, including configuring VPCs, EC2 instances, CloudFront, and managing DNS and security policies.
• Implement and maintain IAM roles, permissions, and network security best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and code review standards.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose improvements to the system architecture and development processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development – Must.
• Proficiency with secure coding practices and OWASP guidelines.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Proven experience with Nest.js framework for building scalable backend services.
• Solid hands-on experience with React, including hooks, context, and state management libraries.
• Deep understanding of MongoDB, including aggregation pipelines, indexing strategies, and schema design.
• Experience working with AWS services (VPCs, EC2, CloudFront, Route53, IAM, S3, etc.).
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS management, and cloud security principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and agile workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Optional

• Experience working in a secure HIPPA / ISO environment.
• Experience with the Healthcare industry with emphasis on telehealth applications.
• Familiarity with GraphQL or WebSockets.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
